Brides aren't the only ones who find wedding dress hunting a daunting task. For example, how do we define "semi-formal" or "dress to impress"? With the usual vague guidelines, we can only turn to the wedding location for hints. For a beach wedding, look for light, flowy dresses. Accessorize the simple garment with a touch of gold or bohemian and a pair of nude wedges. Here are some ideas.

Dave Mcginn expressed on Globe and Mail’s blog on Monday, June 27 that if a wedding is called off, a women should return the engagement ring. Congratulations, Tanya Chow! She's the grand prize winner of the Wedopia Spring Wedding Show!

Just like last year's winner, Terry, we had trouble trying to get a hold of Tanya as well. After numerous calls and emails, she finally called back.  Disappointed we were as one of us at the Wedopia offices would have loved using that package (haha!). But jokes aside, Tanya was more than ecstatic for her win! It was like she just won the Stanley Cup Finals of wedding-planning.

After a couple days of weird weather of hail and snow, on this day in April, I was blessed with a terrific spring afternoon – a perfect day to interview our friend, Almira Spiller,
from Piece of Cake! Wedding Consultants.

The day before the interview I was very excited and had been messaging with Almira via Twitter. She looked absolutely stunning on our interview date
– just ready for my new camera to capture a few gorgeous shots of her.

In her cute and sleek white blazer, I walked up to her and greeted her. One of the first things she asked me was, “What’s the standard font? Is it Cali..bria…and how do you spell it?” How cute, she was preparing an order of customized pens for our upcoming wedding show. Apparently...
